Hi I´m thinking of buying ver 2.2.5 on CDROM. I have previously tried both FreeBSD ver 2.1 and Red Hat Linux 4.1. For a curious "normal" user like myself I thougt the Linux´s X-desktop was easier to use because it seemed to be much more pre-configured than that of FreeBSD ver 2.1. (Both were different versions of Fvwm). Has FreeBSD caught up since? I´m not a programmer who likes to start off with manually editing configuration files here and there, but would like at least some applications readily available on the desktop.........
