Did you just try it anyway? I have:

/dev/twed0s1e   160G   132G    15G    90%    /usr/home/sandwich
/dev/twed0s1f   160G   104G    43G    71%    /usr/home/burger
/dev/twed0s1g   160G   112G    35G    76%    /usr/home/hotdog
/dev/twed0s1h   160G   133G    15G    90%    /usr/home/cola

All quite happy on:

4.5-STABLE FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE #0: Fri Feb 15 19:30:19 GMT 2002
