Fwiw, I sometimes (mostly after a warm reboot) see: mmm dd hh:mm:ss hal /kernel: ata1: unwanted interrupt 1 status = ff immediately followed by a similar Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode. Last time, the current process was swapper. Next time it happens I'll write down the details. Power-cycling works around the problem.
