4.4BSD C2 Style Auditing ListServ This is a mailing list to discuss adding C2 style auditing to the 4.4BSD Operating System. Current development platform is Freebsd, but that may change to OpenBSD (or BSD/OS perhaps) in the near future. The goal is a highly configurable auditing subsystem controlled via sysctl() and suitable for realtime intrusion detection products such as COAST's IDIOT (Intrusion Detection in our Time) system. To subscribe, send "subscribe bsdc2audit" in the body of a message to majordomo@janus.saturn.net. Brian Mitchell brian@firehouse.net "BSD code sucks. Of course, everything else sucks far more." - Theo de Raadt (OpenBSD President)
