Hiya, As a newbie to FreeBSD the Handbook has been a great help to me. At the moment I'm doing my first 'make world' attempt. And while doing that I wanted to optimize it a bit, with make.conf. Now the handbook gives some hints in that direction in 21.4.3 and you are pointed towards /etc/defaults/make.conf. However, the file is not there anymore, but has migrated towards /usr/share/examples/etc/make.conf. So perhaps you could update that part of the handbook to reflect that. Regards, Jeroen.
