Hi, I've just been playing with a 5.0-current snapshot (11/12/01) to get a laptop with a wavelan card booting via BOOTP. I have successfully compiled a kernel with NEWCARD and it detects the wavelan and it can be used. Whenever I add the BOOTP options to the kernel, it panics during boot due to lack of network card for the wired_to statement. It seems like BOOTP is coming in before the rest of the NEWCARD drivers are loaded. I know this is still experimental etc, thats what I'm doing too! ;) Any ideas?
