Is QIC-1350 compatible with QICs 150/250/525/1000? There are smaller,
cheaper, less reliable QICs, and I had assumed that the Anaconda was
one of them. Or is it just this cheap because of the fact that it's
out of production?

This doesn't sound like the QIC I'm talking about. QIC-150, I know,
has 80 kB/s, and I think QIC-525 is round the 100 kB/s mark. Even
assuming the density increase is because of bpi, you'd still only be
round 250 kB/s.
