Hi, Are you sure you have write permissions on that folder? ls -alrt from your homedir will view permissions for everything and you can spot temp in there. It does not seem like an FTP error too me, what does ``fetch ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5-current/All/tex-3.14159_2.tbz'' do? (without the `` and '' ofcourse). And could you provide those details? cheers -- Kind regards, Remko Lodder |remko@elvandar.org Reporter DSINet |remko@dsinet.org Projectleader Mostly-Harmless |remko@mostly-harmless.nl Founder Tienervaders.org |remko@tienervaders.org On Mon, November 22, 2004 10:02, Adam Bednarski said: > > Hello > There is a problem with > > ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5-current/All/tex-3.14159_2.tbz > > when I try to get > > /usr/home/pern/temp/tex-3.14159_2.tgz: Permission denied > > :( > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > PBG S.A. > Bednarski Adam > 061 - 664 19 23 > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-www@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-www > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-www-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" >help
