Hi I've had a resurgence of these starting a few days ago. Basically whenever there is fairly heavy IO (I mean as heavy as IO can get on a COM port) the console starts spewing these messages. Is there any chance this is related to making sio0 my console? Any ideas? I know this was discussed about a year ago but that discussion was inconclusive. The system is SMP (dual Pii-266) using SCHED_4BSD without WITNESS. dmesg.boot follows. Ian -- Ian Freislich Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
