I'll delete the /usr/ports and /usr/src/ stuff.  I guess that will help until
I need to do another make world.

I think you missed my point.  Finding the files is one thing, finding
"what they belong to" is another.  I'm feeling a bit lost without a
package manager such as rpm. (pkg_info doesn't tell you everything on
the system.)
