Hi,
my modem is initialized. when I enter term (or cu -l /dev/cuaa0) I can type
ath1 and get a dial tone on the speaker, so I know the modem is listening.
I have tried typing ATE1 ATF0 ATZ ATZ0 ATZ(1-5) AT&F0 AT&F1. I never get a
response from the modem. I think the default settings are correct because I
can enter directly into terminal mode in Win95 and everything works fine.
Sometimes after I have been trying commands for a while, cu disconnects,
then If I enter cu again everything works fine. I seems to start working at
random times.
Thanks, any ideas would be helpful.
Daniel Keller
