Hello my name is greg. I am writing because I think someone inside my company is attacking named and crashing it. Now I am upgrading to 9.1.0 to get rid of the problem but I wanted to know if there is a peice of software to allow me to track connections and what took place during the connection to determine where this is coming from. So I can break some knee caps. Also as I try this upgrade I am getting permission denied errors. During bootup named will not start---> Doing additional network setup: named/etc/rc: /usr/local/sbin: permission denied portmap Any ideas? Freebsd 4.2--RELEASE and self built bind-9.1.0 Thanks in advance Greg Haa To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-security" in the body of the message
