This is twice I have seen messages claiming that the PERC is an AMI device. But the source code, LINT file and the message my PowerEdge prints at initialization claim that this is an Adaptec FSA controller. Mine certainly uses the aac driver. # Adaptec FSA RAID controllers, including integrated DELL controller, # the Dell PERC 2/QC and the HP NetRAID-4M # # AAC_COMPAT_LINUX Include code to support Linux-binary management # utilities (requires Linux compatibility # support). # device aac Or is the PERC/DC a totally different controller?
