After the ssh/sendmail security fixes, I cvsupped and rebuilt world. When I rebooted, the kernel hung during boot. I did the usual 'cvs upd' binary-search and found that removing these file revisions unhosed my kernel: cam/scsi/scsi_cd.c 1.31.2.15 cam/scsi/scsi_da.c 1.42.2.45 kern/subr_taskqueue.c 1.1.2.3 sys/taskqueue.h 1.3.2.2 These were all checked in as part of the same revision, whose log message starts: date: 2003/09/10 00:40:38; author: ken MFC: Move dynamic sysctl(8) variable creation for the cd(4) and da(4) drivers out of cdregister() and daregister(), which are run from interrupt context. In case it helps, a 'dmesg' from a 'boot -v' looks like this: Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
