Soren- Sometimes, when an Alpha of mine crashes, it leaves the ATA drives in a very wierd state.. It's able to boot from them, but it cannot mountroot on them because: ata0-master: ata_command: timeout waiting for intr ata0-master: identify failed Even an 'init' at the SRM prompt doesn't clear this up and I have to power-cycle.
