I booted from the installation CD ROM and arrived up to a certain point in the installation, that is where I had to choose the installation media, but then I couldn't select CD/DVD, getting the error message. Is the hardware simply not supported (CRD-8322B on an IBM NetFinity 5000)? And isn't it strange that I booted from the same CD device that is not supported? Another thing: I had to select the "safe mode" of installation, otrherwise I got stuck soon, after the message "md0: Preloaded image </mfsroot>..."
