Hi,
Sometimes when a user telnets in a FreeBSD box, and his/her modem
disconnects, the login shell process remains lingering, with any other
tasks as well. e.g. if the user was doing a vi filename when the modem
disconnected him/her, the shell, the vi process are still visible till they
are killed explicitly by root
Is there a way to have such process killed automatically if the user
disconnects. The user is not dialing in, but just doing a telnet in the box.
TIA,
