The whole flame war of this thread is between "I want my system just work and have everything without effort" and "I want my system really secure". Some of us split from Linux to FreeBSD (servers at least) in pursuit of security, others may be splitting from FreeBSD to Linux with their goals. And the only reason this flame war starts on FreeBSD mail list is: Linux mail lists will kick you out pretty quickly ;-) Valeri > And even if I trusted PHP, I would not trust PHP applications. > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list > https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > To unsubscribe, send any mail to > "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" -- ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Valeri Galtsev Sr System Administrator Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics University of Chicago Phone: 773-702-4247 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
