Search the archive for the ports mailinglist, in the mail =20
"print/acroread8: LD_LIBRARY_PATH breaks helper programs" is a fix for =20
the problem.

In general: there's no general fix. It all depends why LD_LIBRARY_PATH =20
is used and what is done. There are multiple ways, some are =20
workarounds ("env LD_LIBRARY_PATH=3D'' lpr ..." ), some (like the one =20
for acroread in the mail) are good fixes.

Bye,
Alexander.
