I then tried to mount a USB stick with a msdos filesystem, but the mount command didn't find the mount_msdosfs program. >How-To-Repeat: Boot from install CD (disc1) Choose fixit Choose the live filesystem option Insert USB stick Fixit# mount -t msdos /dev/da0s1 /mnt mount: exec mount_msdosfs not found in /sbin:/usr/sbin: No such file or directory Fixit# >Fix: Since the mount_msdosfs program is there on the CD, an easy workaround is: Fixit# ln -s /mnt2/sbin/mount_msdosfs /sbin Fixit# mount -t msdos /dev/da0s1 /mnt (As a side note, this proved to be a very useful way to run the ntfsresize program! Don't forget to include the shared library and run ldconfig!) If it is undesirable to build the mount program using a different _PATH_SYSPATH (from paths.h), a solution to the problem would be for sysinstall to change the /sbin symlink to point to /mnt2/sbin. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
