Bumping it up to 2 seconds wouldn't hurt.  Even if DELAY wasn't running
faster, if people have a screwy fdc (and what fdc isn't screwy? :-)) the
extra time for the recalibrate would be better.  I'd rather have a little
extra time than be on the edge of failure for some systems.
