The most appealing thing is when a nerd will create something for the other nerds so that these latter ones will do the same but better. You can call this the battle of the nerds. And when a big company will realize that a new chance of making money with a fresh product is ready,all the nerds will lose interest. And the time to create something fresh and new will come again. Luckily for me, I'm a nerd and not a fan of the big companies. For me it's good if something does not work perfectly because it means that it can be improved. More things are broken, the more fun there is.
