I gave it a try anyway and in my list of disappointing things, I found FreeBSD couldn't configure a port for any PnP device. I'm using the following all ISA - PnP devices: SoundBlaster 16 PnP 3COM 3c 515 - TX US Robotics 56K int (non-winmodem) the computer is a Compaq DeskPro 2000 with a pnpbios. What was, perhaps, more amusing is that in 2.2.8 I got the Soundblaster to work fine by using the old voxware driver and the PnP support. If there's any test I can do to help getting these properly identified in future FreeBSD releases let me know! cheers, Pedro. ______________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
