i'm currently running freebsd 4.4 stable...and i am using whatever version of Xwindows that came with freebsd 4.2....i think it's 3.3.6......anyway i want to upgrade to Xwindows 4.x....since X3.3.6 isn't in more packages database(it's not in pkg_info) how do i go about upgrading? is ther an issue with just installing 4.x from the ports over top of the existing install? or should i delete/uninstall the existing install first? if so how? are there any known issues between freebsd and X4.x? thanks nathan _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
