You can try, I accept all kind of backtraces ;-)
I'm currently trying to track why httpd coredumps.
I suspect issues with, at least, apr locking. I don't know if the
problem is in apr or kse (there are weird behaviors with libthr and
libc_r too)

If you want to test it, compile apache2 with:
WITH_MPM=worker WITH_EXPERIMENTAL_THREADS=yes WITH_PTHREAD_LIBS=kse
and php4 as it should ;-)

I'd appreciated if people who use mod_perl or mod_python could give me
some feedback.
