This is what I added to csa.c
case CS4281_PCI_ID:
s = "Crystal Semiconductor CS4281 Audio accelerator";
break;
The soundcard is now recognised at boot but I am getting some funny
messages
I get
csa0: <Crystal Semiconductor CS4281 Audio accelerator> mem
0xe8100000-0xe810ffff,0xe8110000-0xe8110fff irq 5 at device 9.0 on pci0
device_probe_and_attach: csa0 attach returned 6
and then later
csa0: <Crystal Semiconductor CS4281 Audio accelerator> mem
0xe8100000-0xe810ffff,0xe8110000-0xe8110fff irq 5 at device 9.0 on pci0
device_probe_and_attach: csa0 attach returned 6
csa0: <Crystal Semiconductor CS4281 Audio accelerator> mem
0xe8100000-0xe810ffff,0xe8110000-0xe8110fff irq 5 at device 9.0 on pci0
device_probe_and_attach: csa0 attach returned 6
When I cat /dev/sndstat I get
cat: /dev/sndstat: Device not configured
This is after remaking snd0 using MAKEDEV snd0
