	Well, smilies are ok, and they do look nice in informal texts like
	that of articles/freebsd-questions.  The one removed by this patch is
	part of a parenthesized sentence though, and the opening parenthesis
	is not formatted like <literal>.  It's really not very important, but
	it looks funny when one views this in a browser and <literal> is
	formatted with a very different font than the rest of the text.
