As I can guess, the RedMine port requires RubyGems 1.8, but can not work with it. Please, check the port dependencies or tell me if I've missed or confused something. This is correct. redmine will not work with rubygems 1.8. This is current an open issue with the redmine port and has not been resolved yet. -- milki
