Greetings:
I am running netatalk-1.4b2+asun2.1.3 on FreeBSD 4.1-RC.
atalkd and afpd seem to be running ok, but nothing shows up
in the chooser of the mac I have connected to my LAN.
Nothing shows up when I go to the AppleTalk control panel, and when I try
to open Network Browser, it hangs and I have to reboot the mac.
I have been to all of the netatalk sites, but still have no idea what to
do.
My atalkd.conf file reads as follows:
xl0 -phase 2 -net 0-65534 -addr 65280.13
adding a named zone ( -zone "myZone") doesn't help
my /usr/local/etc/AppleVolumes.system file looks ok.
my /etc/services file seems to have everything required by netatalk.
my xl0 interface seems ok:
xl0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 10.0.0.4 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.0.0.255
inet6 fe80::250:daff:fe1a:e000%xl0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1
atalk 65280.13 range 0-65534 phase 2 broadcast 0.255
ether 00:50:da:1a:e0:00
media: autoselect (100baseTX <full-duplex>) status: active
supported media: autoselect 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX
10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP 100baseTX <hw-loopback>
Any help would be very welcome.
thanks,
