Maybe I'll get something for you as well. One point, though: I think this is really a case where a full-sized image is important, and it should be as sharp as possible. This means .gif, not .jpeg. I'd suggest that you reduce the images to thumbnails and use them as a link to the full-size version for people who want it. If this is a bandwidth problem for you, I'm sure we could arrange to put it on one of the FreeBSD machines.
