Apologies if this got sent to the list twice.  The first time I sent it, 
I used sendmail instead of my ISP's mail server, but since my domain does
not resolve...


How current are you?  With a kernel cvsup'd on 25 Nov, I can use the oss
drivers just fine.

# cd /usr/local/lib/oss
# ./soundon
OSS/FreeBSD loading, address = f410b020

I'm listening to a Def Leppard cd while typing this email.

I typed soundon immediately after booting up and logging on.
