The following two cards are in the machine...haven't had any problems with that 
machineuntil I upgraded to 3.1-STABLE from a 3.0-STABLE machine of around
January...

ahc0: <Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI adapter> rev 0x01 int a irq 15 on pci0.9.0
ahc0: aic7880 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs
ahc1: <Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI adapter> rev 0x01 int a irq 12 on pci0.10.0
