I have some linux binary which used to work und earlier versions of FreeBSD and now it doesn' work anymore. Since I wasn;t sure whether this has been a linux or FreeBSD binary I brandelfed it to FreeBSD first and got: toots# pawX11 ELF interpreter /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1 not found Abort toots# brandelf pawX11 File 'pawX11' is of brand 'FreeBSD'. toots# brandelf -t Linux pawX11 toots# brandelf pawX11 File 'pawX11' is of brand 'Linux'. toots# pawX11 ELF binary type not known Abort toots# Can FreeBSD run a.out linux binaries (pre linux 2.0) as well? -- Chris Christoph P.
