I'm just annoyed, that things, that are supposed to work, do not. Which annoyance is further compounded by the lack of concern on behalf of colleagues. It is a more general problem, than i386 and ffmpeg: thunderbird wouldn't build with LTO enabled even on amd64 -- but firefox builds. Libreoffice fails with LTO too.
