  That would be nice, wouldn't it?  But I don't think anything like that
exists yet.  I wonder whether some money for a contract to develop such

  It is my impression that the AMI cards have nicer setup software on ROM
than the Mylex AccelRAID cards.  I fooled around with a Dell Poweredge
with a Perc/2DC card which is AMI under the hood, and the onboard config
is was much nicer.  Since AMI and Mylex make a series of comparable
models, I'd probably take an AMI card over a comparable Mylex card.
