Not quite yet. The project isn't really at a point where there's any real bootable, usable code. If you want more info, just subscribe to this list and watch. At this point, the goals of the projects are not entirely clear to me to the extent that I could summarize them here. I know that NetBSD (http://www.netbsd.org) has as one of their goals the intention to port BSD to as many hardware platforms as possible. They currently do have a working MacPPC port, so if you just want to ditch MacOS and use BSD on your Mac, you might want to check there pending the completion of the FreeBSD effort (which will be quite a while, still).
