Sorry, but since when is it OK to change the binaries (like mount) that are referenced by files in /etc, but not the files in /etc themselvs (except of course "mtree/*", which is somehow immune from the rule)? Sepcifically, the files that Jordan is talking about updating are "no user servicable parts inside" files (omitting rc.serial and rc.firewall).
