nl - line numbering filter
SYNOPSIS
[-p] [-b type] [-d delim] [-f type] [-h type] [-i incr] [-l num]
[-n format] [-s sep] [-v startnum] [-w width] [file]
It essentially stuffs numbers in front of lines.
