Hello, Axel Gruner <asg@phase73.org> posted the following question to comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc. Since i've experienced the same behaviour on an old WDC AC2250 with FreeBSD-4.3-STABLE(09.06.2001) i think it's worth posting to freebsd-stable. Maybe some of you can solve the problem since it happens on an "untouched" system. > Hi. > /kernel: pid 1377 (pkg_add), uid 0 on /var: out of inodes" > > It is similar to a message during boot process, there is also a message > about /var, that the filesystem should be full. > > Well, i did a "df" and i see that only 1% is used on var. > When i do a "df -i /var" is see --> > > iused ifree %iused > 234 99604 0% > > So, could somone tell me what to do ? > I cant install a program... > > Thanks for help. > > I hope there will be somebody who can help me. > > I installed FreeBSD 4.3.
