With these options in /etc/make.conf
NO_CPU_CFLAGS=true
NO_CPU_COPTFLAGS=true
and kan's gcc patch:

I was able to finished a build of kde with _ALL_ dependencies.

Alexander, will you commmit the gcc workaround ?
