https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=280211 Bug ID: 280211 Summary: freebsd-update: build-upgrade-patches.sh needs documentation Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: asomers@FreeBSD.org The freebsd-update-build project (https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-update-build) includes a script named "build-upgrade-patches.sh". It appears to be an optional step, that generates binary diffs that freebsd-update can use. However, there is no documentation for it. Could somebody please update the article at https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/freebsd-update-server/ with information on how to use this script? Where to execute it, why, when, and with what arguments? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
