You guys can close this if you want, sorry for the excess comments I was sorta
stuck dead in the water until I had this figured out. Turning this off hasn't
really caused any noteworthy problems for me but it seems it was necessary in
order for IPv6 to work correctly in the way that using it with epair interfaces
across different FIBs. Unless you guys wanna leave it open for some reason.
