Same goes for tape. > Name sizes are not the only thing we must thank microsoft for... when copying from CD to hard disk, for a DOS installation, the resulting copies are not exactly equal (I compared them !). I recommend using the /v flag when copying... but there`s no warranty that will be the final answer. Other two guys I know had the same problem, very nasty DOS bug. regards, Pedro
