Just tried to run the "Free Pascal" compiler, which can be found at http://tfdec1.fys.kuleuven.ac.be:80/~michael/fpc/download.html on a FreeBSD 2.2.7 machine with the Linux emulation package installed. (Alas, the compiler is GPL'ed and only compiles programs to ELF format.) Here's what happened: develop: {47} ppc386 ELF binary type not known Abort trap develop: {48} I tried using the "brandelf" utility to brand the ELF executable file with the type "Linux" -- no dice. Got the same message. What's wrong? --Brett Glass To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
