I downloaded the FreeBSD file 4.0-install.iso
using Windows and have it saved in a hard disk
(626MB file (656,562,176 bytes).

It is not clear what I have to do with it next.

I have looked through some FAQ and documentation
pages but they are mostly directed at burning CDs
in Unix etc. I can burn the file to a CD but need
to know if I have to change the filename extension
or something first.

I have not found any reference to ISO files as opposed
to tar, gz etc files and it is not clear how I am
supposed to proceed.

Can you please advise.

Many thanks!

Philip Baker
