Hello. I recently installed a 4.3 minimal release. Now, I try to retrieve the source tree for src/sys. I get the following: << dugorgeon# cvs login ... dugorgeon# cvs checkout -r RELENG_4_3_0_RELEASE src/sys cvs checkout: in directory src: cvs checkout: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or directory cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot write <CVS/Template file>: No such file or direct ory dugorgeon# echo $CVSROOT :pserver:anoncvs@anoncvs.FreeBSD.org:/home/ncvs dugorgeon# cvs logout (Logging out of anoncvs@anoncvs.FreeBSD.org) dugorgeon# >> Furthermore, is there *only* one cvs server for all the world? The page http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/anoncvs.html says the following: << At the time of this writing, the following servers are available: * USA: :pserver:anoncvs@anoncvs.FreeBSD.org:/home/ncvs (Use cvs login and enter the password ``anoncvs'' when prompted.) >> "/home/ncvs" seems to be the root of the source; isn't it? So, why the checked out module in the example is "ls"? There is no "ls" directory in the root of the source tree!
