--KsGdsel6WgEHnImy Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable After a bit of chatting with Diane Bruce on the usual IRC place, I've rolled a small script that checks www/en/news/press.xml for dead links. You can see how I try to test the links semi-automatically at the script's source [ http://people.freebsd.org/~keramida/scripts/deadlink.sh ] Those links that are marked in the logfile created as FAILED, I try to check with a browser too, just in case fetch(1) fails but the page is still there. The recent commits to www/en/news/press.xml are a result of running this and verifying that the links are broken. Some of the articles referenced are still there, but have been moved by the site owners to their "archives". When I cna find an article in these archives, I just update the link. For those links that I remove with "Cannot be found, even if I search the archives of the site" feel free to correct me by reviving the article links and updating the links, if you happen to find the correct pointer.
