I hope Im on the right list for this question. I'm hoping someone has some knowledge in the following area. We are running 2.2.5 on a Compaq Proliant 1500 (Pentium 100) and I am attempting to use a 3Com Etherlink XL 10/100MB Card (PCI) using the vx device driver. We are currently expierencing problems of slow (extremly) performance along with a lot of Ierrs (under netstat -i) when doing NFS operations. Does anybody know the status of this driver in terms of know problems, if any. We are plugged into a Cabletron MMAC plus and there are no errors on the line or at the switch. Any operations using the NFS volumes do complete, but it takes extremely long. Any comments would be appreciated Bill Clark ================================================== Sr. Network Specialist MBS/Multimode A Dimac Marketing Company http://www.mbsmm.com/ mailto:billc@li.net ============================================================================= "I have seen that there is Evil and I know that there is good.
