Sorry to be spamming the list this morning. But, impatience has gotten the
better of me. I went ahead and took a small risk of further mucking things
up. But, it worked out good. For the benefit of anyone trying to help me
and anyone who might read this thread in the archives, let me summarize.
I had to use portupgrade -fr mailman to get mailman to reinstall. I did add
CGI_GID?= to the last line of /etc/make.conf. And, all of this did work.
I still have a little tidying up to do, though.
After having run portsdb -Uu, I tried to re-run portupgrade -r ruby-fnmatch.
But, I get an error:
cd: can't cd to /usr/ports/devel/ruby-fnmatch
** The port directory for 'devel/ruby-fnmatch' does not exist.
---> Skipping 'sysutils/portupgrade' (portupgrade-20020429) because
'devel/ruby-fnmatch' (ruby-fnmatch-1.1b_1) failed
** The following packages were not installed or upgraded (*:skipped /
!:failed)
! devel/ruby-fnmatch (ruby-fnmatch-1.1b_1) (port directory error)
* sysutils/portupgrade (portupgrade-20020429)
Can someone give me some insight to what these errors are all about?
Thanks,
Darren
