As far as I can tell, SciPy v1.11.1 builds fine with NumPy v1.x (according =

the SciPy documentation). Whilst I accept that migrating over to NumPy v2.x=

a larger piece of work, I do not see how that precludes building this speci=

version of SciPy with the current specific version of NumPy under Python 3.=

I do not know (or understand) the inner workings of the ports system, but w=
ould
a simple fix of amending "python:3.9-3.11" in the Makefile suffice here?
